A Message from the President of CCANS

On behalf of the Regular and Associate Members of the Civil Constable Association of Nova Scotia (CCANS), we “Welcome you to our website”.

If you are in need of a Process Server or Bailiff within the Province of Nova Scotia I trust that we will be able to meet your requirements. As each of our members is a private contractor, the rates for service may vary. Please check out the alphabetical 'Members' tab for a Provincial Civil Constable who services your area or check out the 'Location' tab for a CCANS Member that services your locale. There may be more than one who provides service to a particular County / location, as we do try to provide service to a wide area and there could be some overlapping. We cannot dictate or restrict geographical areas to our members.

Members of CCANS are governed by a Code of Ethics, and membership ensures the public that we will provide a high quality of professional service. 

Should you already be an appointed Provincial Civil Constable and wish more information about our Association, please contact one of our members or me by telephone or email. You will find an Application Form on this website which can be printed off and mailed to us. Please check out the 'About Us' tab for more details. We encourage all Provincial Civil Constables to join our Association.

Provincial Civil Constables who are members of CCANS enjoy the benefits of advertising on our website in the counties in which they provide service.  Often clients will be looking for process servers in specific areas, so rather than call around the province they can easily find a PCC serving the area they want.  Also, those visiting our website may contact our association by email and we will direct them to members in specific locations.  Win Win !!  Also you may be interested to know that none of our Officers / Directors receive any remuneration from association funds.  All dues collected go to cover administrative costs to maintain the association.
